Noel Eberline, co-owner of Yearbook, announced on Aug. 10 in the company's member newsletter that he and his business partner, Jef Anderson, will be closing their Madison Street retail location on Sept. 7.

"In recent years," Eberline wrote, "we have been blessed with a growing design business. Projects have varied from commercial interiors to exciting new brands and much more. With this, our focus has shifted to our design practice. We've been faced with a need for more studio space and some difficult decisions."

Eberline and Anderson are looking for a space in Forest Park for their design studio.  Anderson will be doing design work full time at their new space. Eberline will continue in his full-time job as senior director of customer service at Comp TIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) and will serve in a "supportive role" in the design business.

Beginning Aug. 12, everything in the store will go on sale at "drastically reduced" process.

Eberline said he will continue to serve as a board member of the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce, chair of the chamber's marketing committee and member of the Economic Development Committee.

He said that Yearbook will remain the name of the design business and Henry, their English bulldog, will continue serving as their mascot.

"We love Forest Park and plan to remain an active part of the local business community," said Eberline. "We're truly grateful for outpouring of community support since we made the announcement today. We feel so blessed to have created a retail experience that brought joy to many people. We count it a privilege, and it's been a wonderful six years! We'll miss some aspects of the store -- especially the interaction with all our wonderful patrons."
