The St. Bernadine’s eighth graders entered their church as students and left as graduates last Thursday, June 2. The group met as a whole for the last time in a classroom to adjust their caps and have their gowns pinned with the blue and white school ribbons; one reading “St. Bernadine” and the other “Class of 2005.” Afterward the class processed together from the school into their church. The mass served as a stage to recall memories and to say farewell to hard working class. The students are now looking forward to graduation parties, more importantly, graduation money and the inevitable first day of high school.
