Sylvia Neher, 81, 58-year Forest Park resident
Sylvia “Blondie” Neher nee Dolegowski, 81, a 58 year resident of the 1000 block of Ferdinand, died last week.
Neher owned and operated the Shear Magic beauty salon in her home from 1964-1994, and was active in St. Bernadine church and clubs. She is survived by two siblings, Mary Preigh and Arthur Dolegowski, and a cousin, Jeannie Eastman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert “Del” Neher.
Visitation was held from 3-9 p.m. Friday at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home, located at 7319 W. Madison St,
The funeral was held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernadine Chuch, with Mass held at 10 a.m.
