Wayne Edward Gehrke, 75, Little League Coach, Proviso East graduate
Wayne Edward Gehrke, 75, of Villa Park, died September 8 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois.

Visitation was held Friday, September 9 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street in Lombard.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, September 10 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard.

Mr. Gehrke is survived by his wife, Esther R., nee Kuhlmann; two sons, Steven of Forest Park and Glenn of Lomard, two daughters, Karen Howard of Villa Park and Patti Gherke of Forest Park, seven grandchildren, Jeff, John, Gayle, Scott, Paul, Amanda and Danny, two brothers, Alvin of Melrose Park and Vern of Hillside, a sister, Audrey Harper of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gehrke is preceded in death by his brother, Harold, and two sisters, Shirley Bryant and Lois Harbacek.

Mr. Gehrke was a resident of Villa Park since 1962. He grew up in Maywood and was a 1948 graduate of Proviso East High School. He retired in 1993 as a salesman for R.W. Mitchell. He was a Cubs fan and a former Little League Coach in Villa Park.

In lieu of Flowers, Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, Roosevelt and Meyers Road, Lombard, Illinois 60148 would be appreciated.

Jean D. Krumm, 66, Forest Park resident, TB clinic secretary
Jean D. Krumm, 66, a resident of Forest Park and former resident of Riverside, Westchester and Broadview, died September 11, 2005.

Visitation will be at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 West 31st Street in Brookfield, on Wednesday, September 14 from 3 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to noon, when funeral services will begin.

Krumm is survived by her husband, Roy M. Krumm of Forest Park, her daughter, Sondra Carlso, her grandchild, Cali Jean Carlson, her sister, Joan Polaski and her brother, Frank Schmidt. Another sister, Mary Ann Schmidt, as well as her parents, Franklin and Mary Schmidt, preceded her in death.
