James B Mudra, 62, Award winning film editor
James B. “Yamus” Mudra, 62, of Chicago, passed away September 3, 2005.

Born and raised in Forest Park, he was a graduate of Proviso East High School and Southern Illinois University. Mr. Mudra was a Clio award winning film and video editor for national and regional commercials.

Mr. Mudra was the loving husband of Pat Hopson, loving son of Dolores (late Emil) Holub of Forest Park and the late Robert Mudra, devoted son-in-law of Gloria Hopson, dearest brother of Dean Holub of Forest Park and Debbie VanDerKrabben of Peachtree City, Georgia, dear brother-in-law of Peggy (Daniel) Valdes, and fond uncle of Daniel Valdes.

Funeral services have been held and were officiated by Reverend Cliff Dimascio of First United Church, 1000 Elgin Avenue.

Else Lorat, 97, Longtime FP resident
Else Lorat, 97, nee Maisel, passed away September 15, 2005. Mrs. Lorat was the beloved wife of the late Otto, and the loving mother of Lucille (Edgar) Arnold and Ruth Lorat. She was the fond grandmother of Amy and Lila-Joy Arnold and the dear sister of the late August, Bill, Ernst, Manuel, Gerhardt and Martin Maisel.

Visitation was from 10-12 a.m. on Tuesday September 20 at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Oak Park, where service was held at noon.

Arrangements were handled by the Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home.
