Please note that the library will be closed all day on Monday, October 10 for a Staff Development Day.

The library will host its second author presentation on Thursday, October 27, at 7 PM. Jay Bonansinga, author of “Wreck of the Eastland,” will discuss his book and have copies available for autographing and purchase. The Eastland disaster has a great deal of local interest in Forest Park, because a number of the victims are buried in cemeteries here in town. Please join us for this interesting program.

Calling all children! The Friends of the Forest Park Public Library and the Youth Services Department are hosting children’s author Leone Castell Anderson at 2 PM on Sunday, October 16th. Ms. Anderson will read from her books “Sean’s War” and “Sean’s Quest,” and interact with the audience. All are welcome!
