December will still be an eventful month for us here at the library, even though we don’t feature shopping.

First, we’ll have the Family Movie at 2 PM on Sunday, December 4. This month’s feature will be “Lilo and Stitch Part 2.” Mark your calendars if you have youngsters who would enjoy seeing it. As always, admission and refreshments are free.

Second, Brian Maloney of the Chicago Wolves will be here at 4 PM on Tuesday, December 6 to promote Youth Services’ winter reading program. He will be speaking, signing autographs, and doing everything he can to encourage youngsters to read.

Finally, Youth Services will host a winter party on Tuesday, December 20, from 3:30-5:30. The Friends of the Library have generously provided funds to bring in a performer, Cat Catalani, who has made the library circuit in the area, and is well received wherever she appears.
