The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce is looking to residents to nominate their favorite businesses and businesspeople for awards to be distributed at its upcoming annual banquet on February 4.
Nomination forms for both Business Person of the Year and the Business Recognition Award can be printed from www.forestparkreview.com , under the news section. The deadline for nominations is January 6.
The Chamber has given the award each year since 1998. Last year’s winners were Wayne Schauer of Schauer’s Ace Hardware for Business Person of the Year, and Flav’our Cooking School, Brown Cow Ice Cream Parlor, Team Blonde Jewelry and La Piazza Café for business recognition award. A special award was also given to Rev. Tom Holmes for his 20 years of service.
Nominees must have been in business for at least one year, and can be nominated for contributions to the business community, the Chamber, and Forest Park as a whole. Multiple nominations are allowed.
