James L. “Sonny” Delmonico, 60, Fond uncle of many
James L. “Sonny” Delmonico, 60, of Forest Park, died last week. Mr. Delmonico was the loving brother of Carol (Stig) Skjaeriss and Doris (Bob) Kurtz, and the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4 at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home, and a memorial service followed. Interment was at Queen of Heaven cemetery. Dawn A. deBeers, 63, Co-founder of Forest Park Historical Society
Dawn A. deBeers, nee Muehlenhaupt, 63, of Forest Park, died last week. Mrs. deBeers was the beloved mother of Richard A. deBeers, the dear sister of Nedra (Wayne) Wentland, the fond aunt of Tracie (Jeff) Cote and Carrie (Chris) Keppner. She was the friend of Charley deBeers. Mrs. deBeers was the cofounder of the Forest Park Historical Society, and an active member of the First United Church of Christ in Forest Park. Visitation was held on Monday, February 6 at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home, and services followed. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Theodore R. Virgicio, 46, Forest Park resident for 12 years
Theodore R. Virgicio, 46, a 12 year resident of Forest Park, died Feb. 4 at age 46.
Mr. Virgicio was the son of the late Theodore and Dorothy, and the brother of Vincent, Cindy and Antonio Virgicio. He was the uncle of Angelina Virgicio. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Kopicki’s Parkwyn Funeral Home, 6901 West Roosevelt Rd. in Berwyn.
Waltraut E. Hearell, 79, Longtime Forest Park resident
Waltraut E. Hearell, nee Hoeschele, died last week at age 79. Mrs. Haerell, a graduate of Proviso East High School, was the beloved wife of the late James, and the loving mother of George (Nancy) Kriske. She was the fond grandmother of Joel and Timothy Kriske, and the dear sister of Elizabeth Koltis, Selma Pytko, Irma McCullough, Eleanor Allen and the late William and George Hoeschele. She was the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 2 at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home, where services were held Friday. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, West Cook Area Office, Suite 3 South, 7234 W. Ogden Ave., Riverside, IL 60546 are appreciated.
