Shirley M. McNeil, 84, Grandmother of nine
Shirley M. McNeil, nee Galitz, 84, of Williams Bay, Wisconsin, formerly of River Forest, died March 15, 2006. Mrs. McNeil was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Warren W. McNeil, and the loving mother of Donna Ledbetter, Sandy (John) Higgins and Warren (Julie) McNeil. She was the fond grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of nine. Visitation was held Sunday, March 19 at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home in Forest Park, and the funeral was held Monday, March 20 to St. Luke Catholic Church, where Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Chicagoland Chapters, 4709 Golf Road, Suite 1015, Skokie, 60076.
