Jane A. Urban, 66, Forest Park resident, OPRF graduate
Jane A. Urban of Forest Park died March 16, 2006 at age 66. Mrs. Urban was the mother of Jason Urban and the sister of Bruce Urban. She worked as a counselor, and had lived in Forest Park for 15 years. She was a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School and a lover of nature. Funeral arrangements were handled by Kopicki’s Heritage Funeral Home in Berwyn.
Loretta R. Scheiwe, 84, Active member of St. John Lutheran
Loretta R. Scheiwe died on March 29, 2006 at age 84. Mrs. Scheiwe was the beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Scheiwe and the loving mother of William (Lois) Jon (Vgonne) and Robert (Edie). She had seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Scheiwe, who lived in Glen Ellyn at the time of her death, was a former resident of Forest Park and a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ruth Guild. She injoyed singing in the Harlem Mens and Dames Choir. She was proud of her husband and sons, all of whom taught at schools. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 1 at Hursen Funeral Home in Hillside, and interment was at Concordia Cemetery.
Margaret L. Stanford, 77, Great-grandmother of five
Margaret L. Stanford, nee Keller, died March 28, 2006 at age 77. Mrs. Stanford, a 15 year resident of Forest Park, was the mother of Sharon (Daniel) Schwanderlik, the late Larry Stanford, Margie (Bryan) Coakley, the late Robert Stanford, and Barbara Sonka. She was the sister of Clarence Keller and Helen Ralls. She had many loving nieces, and was the dear aunt of Nancy Anderson. Mrs. Stanford had 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were handled by Kopicki’s Heritage Funeral Home in Berwyn.
Joan Lois Liposwki, 68
Joan Lois Lipowski, nee Schetnitz, 68, died March 24. Mrs. Lipowski was the loving mother of Cindy Burclaw, Sandra Schacherbauer, Kelly (Ginger) Schacherbauer, Michael (Linda) Schacherbauer, and Edwin (Carolyn) Lipowski. She was the fond grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of three. She was the dear sister of Donna Schroeder. Visitation was held March 29 at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home in Forest Park, where services were held March 30.
