A free resume workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at 7 p.m,. Call the Reference Desk at 366-7171, Extension 110 to register. Our presenter will explain the several different kinds of résumé’s, including those submitted online, and discuss the cover letter. If you already have a resume prepared, there will be a chance to have it reviewed.
The final Family Movie Afternoon of the school year will be “Chicken Little” on Sunday, May 21, at 2 p.m.
The Youth Services Department will host a talent show on Tuesday, May 23, from 7-8:30 p.m., for children age 6 and up. Call 366-7171, Extension 116, or drop in to register for the show. No auditions required. Skits, songs, martial arts, dance, singing and other acts are welcome. Please provide lyrics for any song that will be part of your act.
