Richard R. Robinson, 59, Former auxiliary member of Forest Park Fire Department
Richard R. Robinson, age 59, a 33 year resident of Oak Park died on May 15, 2006 at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst. Mr. Robinson was born in Chicago on August 14, 1946. He grew up in Chicago and served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1969. He was an employee of Burns International, and a former 20 year auxiliary member of the Forest Park Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, nee Sullentrup, and his daughters, Jennifer Robinson of Oak Park, Kimberly Lovendahl of Oak Park, and Michelle Robinson of Oak Park; his granddaughter Emily Lovendahl; his father Leslie Dwyer; his siblings Leslie (Sheila) Dwyer, Raymond (Joanna) Dwyer, Joseph (Mary) Dwyer, Dennis Dwyer, and Barbara (Walter) Luszczyk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Dwyer. A visitation was held on Friday May 19 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home in Oak Park. Funeral Services were held May 20 at St. John Lutheran Church in Forest Park and Interment was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. Memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
