St. John article was ‘encouraging, postive’
Thanks to Pastor Holmes for his encouraging and positive article in the July 12, 2006 Forest Park Review regarding the “recovery process” involving the renewal and rebuilding of St. John Congregation. His comments, along with those of Pastor Kluge, Pastor Helmke and Principal Nunes substantiated the positive comments of congregation chairman Dave Walz.
Leaders and members of St. John are working and praying together for God’s continued blessing for His work at St. John.
People of the community are welcomed to worship at St. John, Sundays at 8:30 or 11 a.m.

Thanks for making Relay for Life a success
On behalf of the American Cancer Society, I want to thank all who participated to make this years Forest Park Relay for Life a big success. It doesn’t happen without many volunteers, working several months, going over minute details. It also doesn’t happen without the many donors, both private and corporate, giving some of their hard earned dollars for this worthy cause.
I would especially like to thank Forest Park National Bank for once again being our headline sponsor, as well as the Park District of Forest Park for their efforts in making this event happen seamlessly.
