Warren F. Dubois, 84, avid hunter and fisherman
Warren F. Dubois, 84, of Elmhurst, formerly of Forest Park, died last week. Mr. Dubois was the beloved husband of Janice Behnke nee Conover and the late Caroline. He was the loving father of William (June) and the late Kenneth and stepfather of Katherine (Michael) Gorecki, Diane Behnke and Richard Behnke Jr.
Mr. Dubois was the fond grandfather of Nicole (Lou) Horton, Andrew DuBois, Steven Poulos, Laura Poulos and Jason Poulos. He was the fond great-grandfather of Caroline, Louis and Christopher.
Mr. Dubois had a great love of the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Forest Park, Moose Lodge in Lockport, and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Visitation was Sunday at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home in Forest Park and Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Forest Park, where service was also held. Interment was at Arlington Cemetery. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church are appreciated.
