Robert M. Ginger, 52, Active Park District volunteer
Robert M. Ginger, 52, of Forest Park, died. He was the son of Dorothy Ginger.
Ginger is predeceased by his brother Richard. Ginger is survived by is wife Debbie (Romanek) Ginger; two daughters, Natalie (Matthew) Ginger and Nicole; and a brother, William. He was also an uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Robert Ginger was a very active volunteer of the Forest Park Park District for more than 15 years. He was a certified league official in the Forest Park and Melrose Park little leagues, and IHSA, ASA and NSA. He was a member of the American Bowling Congress, 299 Club and Chicago Bowling Association. Robert Ginger was also involved with the PTA, Boosters Club and Special Olympics.
He was a member of the West Suburban Officials.
Visitation was held Sept. 10 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W. Madison St., Forest Park, Ill. Funeral services were Sept. 11 at 9:15 a.m. A Mass at St. Bernardine Church was held at 10 a.m. Interment is at the Resurrection Cemetery.
