The Forest Park Review is pleased to introduce its new managing editor, Joshua Adams.

Adams is a recent transplant from the East Coast where he worked for several daily newspapers, both as an editor and reporter. Some of his focus areas as a reporter were local government, education, health care and business development.

“I’m excited by the idea of community journalism, and I look forward to furthering the quality of the Forest Park Review,” Adams said.

Adams received his degree in journalism from the University of New Hampshire in 2001.

Adams replaces Seth Stern. Stern recently left the paper to begin a combined graduate school program in law and public administration at DePaul University. Stern will continue as an occasional freelance contributor to the Review.

“In Josh Adams we have a Review editor who knows and values community newspapers. He is a veteran, not a rookie,” said Dan Haley, publisher of the Review. “He is enthusiastic about what a fair and strong newspaper means to a town like Forest Park. These are important and complicated days in Forest Park. There’s a big election coming up in the spring, a lot of issues to report on. Josh will be up to the task just as Seth Stern has been,” said Haley.

You can reach Adams at the Review at 366-0600 and dial extension 3325. Also, feel free to e-mail story ideas, questions and concerns to Adams at jadams@wjinc.com.
