Margaret N. Thalman, 90, Former Forest Park resident
Margaret N. Thalman, 90, died on Nov. 28, 2006. She was born Jan. 15, 1912 in Chicago.
Thalman was a resident of Scottsdale, Ariz., at the time of her death and previously lived in Forest Park.
Thalman is survived by a son, Dennis M. Thalman of Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was predeceased by her husband Marshall B. Thalman, who died in 1983.
Funeral services and Mass were held Dec. 4 at the St. Edmund Church with Father Larry McNally officiating. Interment will be at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of P.M. Smith and Sons Funeral Home at 1538 Suffolk Ave., Westchester, Ill.
Joseph Anton Kubik, 93, Friendship Village resident
Joseph Anton Kubik of Mt. Prospect, Ill., died on Nov. 30, 2006. He celebrated his 93rd birthday one day prior.
Kubik resided in Mt. Prospect for 48 years. He attended Mt. Prospect Bible Church and coached softball and basketball at the church for many years.
Kubik is survived by three sons, Joel Kubik of Aurora, Ill., John Kubik of Marietta, Ga., and James Kubik of Barrington Hills, Ill.; a sister, Alice Karr of Northbrook, Ill.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with a third on the way.
Kubik was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, June Dorothy Kubik; and his parents, Joseph and Frances Kubik.

Bernice A. Clark, 87, Longtime village resident
Bernice A. Clark (Schroedle), 87, of Forest Park, died on Dec. 1, 2006.
Clark was a resident of Forest Park for more than 50 years.
She is survived by four children, James Hugh Jr., Philip Charles, Robert Louis and Joan Louise Bass; seven grandchildren, Phil Clark Jr., Mary Beth Mear, Renee Althea Clark, Janene Anne Conte, Walter James Bass, Sharon Nicole Delapena and Jennifer Ann Bugajsky; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Clark was predeceased by her husband, James Hugh Clark Sr.
Visitation was held at the Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home at 7319 W. Madison St. Funeral services and Mass was held at St. Bernardine Church. Interment is at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
