Octoberfest
St. Bernardine is putting on its annual Octoberfest in the parking lot south of the Church on Elgin Avenue on Sept. 21 from 4 p.m. till midnight and on Sept. 22 from noon till midnight. For more information on this event, which will include games, music and food, call 366-0839.
Pray and play
St. Bernardine Catholic Church has a program called Pray and Play for preschool children while their parents are attending Mass. Call 366-6890 for more information.
Ministry Fair at St. Luke’s
St. Luke Parish will sponsor a Ministry Fair on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the church plaza and St. Luke lawn. In the event of bad weather, the fair will be held in Waldron Hall in the basement of the parish school building. Representatives of the many parish ministries will be available at the fair to answer questions about their ministries and offer information about joining parish ministries. Some, but not all of the ministries included will be those pertaining to parish liturgy, faith formation, music, sacraments and human concerns. Worship for children
St. Bernardine has a liturgy of the Word for pre-middle school children every Sunday during the 9:30 a.m. Mass and a Teen Youth Mass every fourth Sunday at 5 p.m. Call 366-6890 for information.
Revival
New Harvest Christian Fellowship is holding a three day revival featuring Pastor Richard Salazar from Los Angeles as the speaker. On Sept. 21 and 22, the program begins at 7:30 p.m. and on Sept. 23 it starts at 1:30 p.m. For information call 788-2025.
Thai/St. Paul’s worship
