Thai Christmas celebration

The Thai Community Church will be celebrating the birth of Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 16 starting at 4:30 p.m. The service will include special musical and classical dancing and a Thai buffet following worship. Call (630) 972-1747.

Family blessing

At the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Dec. 30, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will be giving an individual blessing to every family, no matter how it is configured. Call 366-0058.

Dramatic presentation on Mary

Ms. Shirley Gangstad will be giving a dramatic presentation of “Mary, mother of Jesus” at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. There will be a free will offering and refreshments after the performance. At the movies

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is showing two classic Christmas movies on the big screen in their sanctuary. On Saturday, Dec. 15 “The Polar Express” will begin at 4 p.m. and “It’s A Wonderful Life” will start at 6 p.m.-$2/children and $4/adults. Call 366-0058.

Worship time change

CROP payout

The Forest Park Food Pantry recently received a check for $2,942.76 from the CROP Hunger Walk held last May.
