Michael R. Herrmann, 48, Proviso East graduate
Michael R. Herrmann, 48, a longtime resident of Forest Park, died Jan. 4, 2008, at Southlake Hospital in Lake County Florida. He was born Jan. 12, 1959, to Howard and Ruth Herrmann. He was a graduate of St. Bernardine’s and Proviso East High School.
He is survived by his brother, William; sister, Mary; a niece, Colleen; and nephews John and Brian.
Arrangements are pending.
Linda M Wojtas, 69, Forest Park resident
Linda M. Wojtas, 69, of Forest Park, died Jan. 18, 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; a son, Kevin Wojtas of Wauwatosa, Wis.; two daughters, Susan Wojtas of Lyons and Beth Wojtas of Forest Park; five grandchildren, Samuel, Jonas, Grant, Parker and Diana; a sister, Tilli Urban; and two nieces, Irene Urban and Sonya Urban-Burkett.
Wojtas was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Mathilde Spafford; a brother, Michael Spafford; two sisters, Phyllis Spafford and Nanci Shellhammer; and a nephew, Rolf Shellhammer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. John Evangelical Church, 305 Circle Ave., Forest Park, Ill. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church Quilters Club and the St. John music department.
