Robert Koson, 82, Former Forest Park resident
Robert Koson, 82, formerly of Forest Park, has died.
Koson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII.
He is survived by a sister, Leona Donat; and several nieces and nephews.
Koson was predeceased by six siblings; Andy, Frank and Joseph Koson, Anne Nolan, Eleanor Payne and Margaret Kielma.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison St., Forest Park. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 27 at St. Bernardine Church. Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
