Mary F. Thiesse, 97, Survived by four generations
Mary F. Thiesse (Huch), 97, has died.
Thiesse is survived by a son, Edward Thiesse; three grandchildren, Jimmy Thiesse, Karen Thiesse and Susan Milchhoefer; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, Alena Walters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; and four siblings, Clara Fabishek, Florence Dagen, Eva Hollerbach and George Huch.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison St. Interment is at Elm Lawn Cemetery.
Mary E. Ziebell, 76, Former committee chairwoman
Mary E. Ziebell (Callahan), 76, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a resident of Forest Park for more than 54 years.
Ziebell was born in Chicago on June 27, 1932, and raised in Oak Park. She graduated from Rosary College in River Forest as a member of the class of 1954. Shortly after graduation she married Edwin J. Ziebell, former chief of police for the Forest Park Police Department. She was a longtime Realtor and member of the Oak Park Board of Realtors and former chairwoman of the Forest Park Plan Commission.
She is survived by her children, Herman Daniel Ziebell, Mary Catherine Schuster and Gerald Edwin Ziebell; three grandchildren, Sarah Grace Schuster, Kristina Maja and Nicholas John Ziebell.
Ziebell was predeceased by her husband, Edwin.
Funeral Mass was held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in River Forest. Private services and interment were held at Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Ill., 60601-7633, are appreciated.

Dorothy Rudis, 81, Forest Park resident
Dorothy Rudis (Wentland), 81, has died. She was a resident of Forest Park.
Rudis is survived by a daughter, Sheri Carfora; three sisters, Lucille, Delores and Geraldine; a brother, Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Anthony; and seven siblings, Lydia, Augie, Millie, Frederick, Maria, Albert and Amanda.
