Ronald R. Parker, 70, Longtime Oak Park resident
Ronald R. Parker, 70, of Oak Park, died Aug. 4, 2008. Parker lived in the community for more than 40 years.
He is survived by two brothers, Bruce and James Parker; several nieces and nephews, and Michael Zych, a close friend for more than 40 years.
Parker was predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Parker.
Funeral services and interment were held privately. Arrangements were under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison St., Forest Park.
Marian A. Stocky, 90, Longtime village resident
Marian A. Stocky, 90, died July 25, 2008, following a brief illness. Stocky is a former Forest Park resident who had lived in Burbank, Calif., since 2001.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas P. Stocky and John F. Stocky; two grandchildren, Thomas A. Stocky and Melinda Cook; four great-grandchildren, Daniel, Sophie, Sarah and Erin Cook.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph F. Stocky.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison St., Forest Park. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
