An Aug. 20 fire that charred three garages is under investigation, according to Fire Chief Steve Glinke, and investigators are focusing on an area between two of the buildings where witnesses said the flames originated. Firefighters were called to 945 Circle Ave. where that garage, a garage at 947 Circle Ave. and another garage at 946 Hannah Ave. were in flames. Witnesses reported seeing several kids run from the area just before the smoke was spotted.
“It’s safe to say the circumstances are suspicious,” Glinke said.
