Beverly M. Thompson, 65, Community center director
Beverly “Bev” M. Thompson (Yakus), 65, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008. She was a longtime resident of Forest Park, formerly of Chicago, and at the time of her death served as director of the Howard Mohr Community Center in Forest Park.
Thompson is survived by her husband, Louis S. Thompson; two children, Michael S. Thompson and Julie L. Thompson; and three grandchildren, Reid David and Kevin.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison St. Interment is at Concordia Cemetery.
