They came from the city and the western suburbs. More than 50 women had fun at M. Santana and Afkara Shoes on Sunday afternoon during the second half of Madison Street’s third annual food and fashion show. After chocolate martinis at Flavour Cooking School-where there was more fun over nibbles, too, it was time to sip champagne and take in real-world yet high-steppin’ fashion. Myrza Santana and Afkara Mason had lots to show and tell.
The models: Brett Samuels, a businesswoman in Oak Park; Amy Doherty, a college student in Oak Park; Lisa McKenna, a teacher in Oak Park; Jill Krygowski, an Oak Parker who owns Treehouse in Forest Park; Nikki Harrison, hair stylist; Kelsey Farkvam, an ad agency rep in Chicago.
