John A. Edwards, 86, Former school employee
John A. Edwards, 86, died Oct. 30, 2008. He was a former business manager for Oak Park-River Forest High School.
Edwards served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Esther L. Edwards; two children, Beth Fine and John D. Edwards; five grandchildren, Justin Huskamp, Brian Huskamp, Joseph Edwards, Tori Edwards and James Edwards.
He survived his siblings, Louise, Agnes and Joseph; and a grandchild, John D. Edwards.
Edwards was a member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, where memorial services were held Nov. 3. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Vorhis and Ryan Funeral Home, Cincinnati, Ohio.
