Jean M. Turner, 94, Forest Park resident
Jean M. Turner (McPhail), 94, of Forest Park, died Dec. 31, 2008.
Turner was a longtime resident of the village and for many years was employed as a sales clerk in the cosmetics department at Marshall Fields in downtown Chicago.
She is survived by a son, John H. “Jack” Jones; three grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth and Daniel; six great-grandchildren, Josh, Blake, Bailey, Jacob, Jessica and Jordan Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.
Turner survived three siblings, Philip McPhail, Martha Shworles and John McPhail; and a grandson, Russell.
A funeral service was held Jan. 3 at Forest Park Baptist Church, 133 S. Harlem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Baptist church are appreciated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison in Forest Park.
