This is the week of the New Plays Fest in Forest Park. At 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, Feb. 19-21, you get to be the critic as Circle Theatre auditions entire plays for its next season.

First in this series is The Naked Show, by Amy Binns-Calvey (pictured) of Forest Park. The show in the title is Our Town, a nude version of which is Big Nuts Theater Company’s attempt to save the troupe.

The Friday show is Ratkillers by E. Eugene Baldwin, all about a restaurant crew’s original approach to pest control. On Saturday, it’s The Analytical Engine by Jon Steinhagen, an 1850s incarnation of computer dating.

There’s a suggested donation of $5 for each play. Circle Theatre is at 7300 W. Madison. www.circle-theatre.org, 770-0700
