Katherine C. Treiber, 94, Former owner of Beloit Food Shop
Katherine C. Treiber (Gentemann), 94, of Forest Park, has died. She was a resident of the village for about 60 years and former owner of the Beloit Food Shop. Treiber was also an active member of the Forest Park Senior Center.
Treiber is survived by a son, John; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, John Jr., Kimberly, Richard Jr. and Scott, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She had survived her husband, John; a son, Richard; and two sisters, Louise Burgess and Wilma Kirnbauer.
Funeral services were under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
