Bernice A. Schnurstein, 94, Former senior club president
Bernice A. Schnurstein (Prehn), 94, of Forest Park, has died.
Schnurstein was a past president of the Forest Park Senior Citizen Club.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Linda Schubert, Karin Gutierrez, Becky Ottesen, Heidi Schnurstein and Randal Schnurstein; seven great-grandchildren, Nikita Gutierrez, Alex Gutierrez, Christopher Malcik, Daniel Ollech, Dustin Hinz, Jennifer Schnurstein and Matthew Schnurstein; three sisters-in-law, Amanda Prehn, Pauline Prehn and Marian Schnurstein; and several nieces and nephews.
She had survived her husband, Fred E. Schnurstein; and two sons, Fred and Glenn Schnurstein.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West.

Helen T. Trapani, 88, Forest Park resident
Helen T. Trapani (Korberl), 88, of Forest Park, has died.
She is survived by a niece, Arlene Weatherford; a great-niece, Laura Weatherford, and her friend, Theresa Udil.
Trapani had survived her husband, Pasqual “Pat” Trapani.
Services were held privately and under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison.
Gordon E. Solheim, 75, Surviving family in Forest Park
Gordon E. Solheim, 75, died March 11, 2009.
He is survived by his siblings, Phyllis Nelson, Marilyn Thompson, and Nancy Schnurstein, of Forest Park; nieces and nephews Richard Nelson, Sandra Dressel, Kathleen Hopkins, Sue Wenger, James Nelson, Patti Nelson, Debbie Blackburn, Cheryl Falzone, Linda Schubert, Karin Gutierrez and Becky Ottesen; several great-nieces and nephews; and three cousins, Francis Burstein, Raymond Kroker and Marcy Eggen.
Solheim had survived his parents, Ernest and Gertrude Solheim, and a brother, John Solheim.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison.

Janis E. Beran, 61, Forest Park resident
Janis E. Beran (Mittelhauser), 61, of Forest Park, has died.
She is survived by a son, Scott Beran; her grandchildren, Alissa, Kayla and Izabella Beran; a niece, Michelle Guy; and two cousins, Rhonda and Larry Kral.
Beran had survived a sister, Mary Ellen Guy; and her parents, Elmer and Janet Mittelhauser.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 18, at 10 a.m. at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison. Burial will be at Glen Oak Cemetery.
