Newcomer Eric Entler has jumped out to an early lead in the race for a six-year seat on the park district board. With two precincts reporting, Entler leads the incumbent Howard “Bud” Boy by a margin of 141 to 69. A third candidate in the race, Michael Espinosa, is trailing with 45 votes, according to unofficial tallies by the Cook County clerk’s office.
