If you’d like to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, but would rather not bike 150 miles to do so, head to Skrine Chops on Saturday, May 30 for a fundraiser that allows you to drink and eat for a good cause. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., do-gooders pay $20 in advance or $25 at the door to hear live music and support a team of cyclists willing to do the heavy lifting. The Chicago Campus Cyclers, sponsors of the benefit concert, will join the MS Tour de Farms on June 12-14 to raise money for MS research and family support.

Scheduled performers include singer-songwriter Naomi Ashley, John Daugherty on mandolin and bluesman Charlie McShane. Skrine Chops is located at 7320 Madison. For more details, contact Ann O’Brien at akelse1@uic.edu.
