Johnathon E. Ollech, 18, Forest Park resident
Johnathon E. Ollech, 18, of Forest Park, died suddenly June 14, 2009. He had attended St. Joseph High School and Proviso East High School, graduating from the latter in 2009.
Ollech is survived by his father, Robert E.; his siblings, Steve, Jeanette Barnes and Robert; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marianne H.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison, in Forest Park.
Eugene ‘Gene’ Lentini, 81, Former village resident
Eugene Lentini, 81, died June 15, 2009. Lentini was born in Forest Park and for many years lived in the community with his family. He was also employed by the fire department early in his career.
An active dancer and skydiver, he served in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division. He graduated from The American Academy of Art, and enjoyed a brief career as a commercial artist before becoming a firefighter in Westchester. After 36 years, he retired as captain.
Lentini is survived by his sisters, Nancy and Josephine; a brother, Pete; his children, Susan (John) Stewart, Guy (Myra) Lentini, Jane Lentini and Victor Lentini; and his grandchildren, Marilyn, Danny, Clio, Timothy and Rowdy.
He was predeceased by his wife, Janice “Jay,” of 46 years.
Sun Lakes, Ariz., became his final residence in 1999, where he lived with his companion, Onalie Dehorty.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, Ariz., 85014.
