Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, reportedly a bandleader since he was 6, and his Orleans Avenue band brought their intense New Orleans funk rock and jazz show to Roosevelt Road last weekend. The band was one of more than a dozen to perform at FitzGerald’s Nightclub’s annual American Music Festival.
