Mary Therese Collins, Former village resident
Mary Therese Collins (Cribben), a former resident of Forest Park, born May 7, 1932, died on June 30, 2009. For 17 years, Collins and her family lived on the 1000 block of South Ferdinand.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Theresa Ann, Kathleen Marie Wians, James Patrick III, C.F.D., Michael Joseph, Jeanne Elizabeth Kravetz, Lawrence William and Mark; her grandchildren, Katie Cato, Elliot and Juli Wians, Jennifer and Frank Nere, Adam Kravetz, Lauren, Kenny, Steven, Jimmy, Danny, Molly, Megan and Sean Collins; great-grandchildren, Julian, Venus, Giovanni and Derrick; her siblings, Robert, Margaret and Mark Cribben, Patricia Walsh; and several nieces and nephews.
Collins had survived her husband, James Patrick, Jr., C.F.D; her sister, Catherine Schank; and her parents, Helen and Mark Cribben.
Visitation was July 2, 2009, and her funeral was held July 3 at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Ryan-Parke Funeral Home. Graveside burial was at All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Friends of Handicapped Children, P.O. Box 39601 Chicago, Ill., 60639, are appreciated.
