Getting out onto the dance floor seems to be one of those activities you either embrace with the excitement of an eager child, or loathe with a discomfort matched only by the prospect of a root canal. For those in the latter category, it doesn’t have to be this way.
During a weekend of free classes offered at Pineapple Dance Studio, lots of people who would have never made the cut on Star Search enjoyed the opportunity to try and expand their comfort zones. They missed steps, lost the rhythm and awkwardly advanced around the room. That’s OK. No one is judging and everyone’s there to learn.
A smile and a dose of self-confidence can put the boogey in anyone’s step.
