Kathleen Waterloo, an artist specializing in encaustic pieces, will have several paintings on display at the Forest Park National Bank, 7348 Madison. Waterloo describes her work as “architectural fantasies” in which any structure is represented with stunning simplicity, according to her Web site, www.kathleenwaterloo.com. Her work has been displayed in galleries in Chicago, California and Pennsylvania, among others.
The paintings at the bank are presented by the Oak Park Area Arts Council.
