Parents with children up to the age of 5 are encouraged to bring their kids to Garfield Elementary, 543 Hannah, for a free evaluation of their child’s developing language, motor skills and emotional intelligence. The screening is part of District 91’s early childhood development program intended to help parents and educators target those areas where improvement may be needed.
Assessments will be conducted Monday, Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For an appointment, contact Suzy Palm at 366-5703.
