In a series of live television spots, one of Forest Park’s own will help Thanksgiving cooks across the city prepare the perfect bird. Denise Norton, chef and owner of Flavour Cooking School on Madison, is scheduled to be a part of WGN-TV’s live coverage of the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade on State Street in Chicago. Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., Norton will offer last minute tips for preparing some of the holiday’s traditional dishes.
