A new state study of the Eisenhower Expressway could lead to changes in how the public commutes through the western suburbs – and it could lead to a widening of the highway. Transportation officials will host an open house tonight, Nov. 18, to solicit input from the public and provide information on potential projects. Forest Park, because it straddles the highway, is one of several communities expected to be closely involved with the study.
The meeting will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Best Western Chicago located at 4400 N. Frontage Road in Hillside. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at anytime to view different displays and presentations during the event.
