Robert ‘Moe’ Corvo, 77, Korean War veteran

Robert H. “Moe” Corvo, 77, of Oak Park, died Dec. 14, 2009, after a battle with cancer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his children, Robert W., Steve and William; his grandchildren, Joseph, Robyn, Andrew, Roxanne, Jessica and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Maddox; his siblings, Mildred, Marilyn, Salvatore Jr., Lori, Rosalie, Richard and Joseph; several nieces and nephews, and a cousin, Frank Salerno.

Corvo was predeceased by his wife, Wilma (Harnach); and his brother, Russell.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m.

Ida Hanson, 99, Lifelong village resident

Ida Hanson, 99, has died. She was a lifelong resident of Forest Park.

She is survived by her sister, Anna Robinson, 97; her niece, Nancy Robinson; and a nephew, Phil Robinson, all of whom live in Forest Park. Hanson is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will held at a later date.
