Read your editorial and letter to the editor and I cannot help writing this. I sincerely feel that all elected officials and volunteers in Forest Park should adopt a “clean hands policy.” By that, I mean no one – and I mean no one – should be rewarded positively for something that was done illegally.

Utter disregard for the law and zoning regulations should not be condoned and, most of all, be rewarded or allowed to benefit from what is illegal. By doing so we establish precedents and invite lawsuits, ill will, etc.

I trust that all employees, elected officials and volunteers will think long and hard about adopting “clean hands” for Forest Park.
