Christopher Harris, a Forest Park resident campaigning to represent the 1st District on the Cook County Board of Commissioners, is holding a fundraiser and mixer this weekend on Madison. The public is invited to meet Harris, a nine-year resident of the village, on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Team Blonde, 7442 Madison.
Harris is one of four candidates hoping to survive the Democratic Feb. 2 primary. The 1st District is currently represented by Commissioner Earlean Collins. Collins is seeking reelection. Additional information on Harris’ campaign can be found at www.ChrisHarrisPolitics.com.
