Florence E. Nikoluk, 83, died at her home on Jan. 16, 2010. She was born in Chicago to Peter and Anna Nikoluk, and was a longtime resident of Forest Park. She was a graduate of Proviso East High School.
Over the years, Nikoluk held various secretarial positions with her last being at St. Luke School in River Forest. She had a lifelong love of animals.
She is survived by her brothers, John and Clarence Nikoluk; her nieces and nephews, Diane, Alan, Nancy and Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, the late Jean Thor and Helen Scholz.
A visitation and funeral Mass were held at St. Bernardine Church. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to PAWS of Chicago, 1110 W. 35th Street, Chicago, IL 60609 are appreciated.
