You have until Friday to submit comments about proposed improvements from Brown Street to Harlem Avenue.

The upgrades, on which construction is scheduled to start at the end of May, is a project that will be covered by money from the Brown Street Tax Increment Financing District.

Michael Stirk, an engineering consultant for the village, presented details Monday night at a meeting just before the regular village council meeting.

His presentation is available on our Web site and at village hall, which is at 517 Desplaines Ave.

Comments are due Friday, April 16. You can drop off a letter at village hall or send it directly to the consultant:
