On Friday night, when the new Sex and the City movie debuted, it was a stiletto crawl along Madison Street, not the usual bar crawl.
And the kick in the progressive shopping event that took shoppers from storefront to storefront flagged by feather boas was a bus ride from Madison Street in Forest Park to Lake Street in Oak Park, where the partiers huddled to see their heroines on the big screen at the Lake Theatre.
The shopping spree attracted (above) River Foresters Lisa Siragusa and Diane Pace. A Sexy Stiletto Contest and makeup ops were part of the fun.
The event was planned by Forest Parker Kee Sherman of Kee 2 Creativity. Girlicious, the accessories boutique at 7508 Madison, where the bus departed, was the event’s main sponsor.
