At Brown Cow Ice Cream Parlor on Monday night, it was time again for gulping down scoops from a trough. Sweet-toothed teams of three raced to see who could hoof down seven pounds of varying flavors of ice cream topped with whipped cream, cherries and sprinkles. The winning team emptied their trough in just over six minutes. Scott McParland joined his nephews John (at left) and Danny in the competition.
