I’d like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation and thanks to the Forest Park team, who were so quick and efficient in response to a disaster caused by the severe storm a few weeks ago.

When one of the three maple trees on the parkway along Jackson Boulevard, next to my house, was uprooted and fell against the roof, causing some structural damage, Mayor Tony Calderone, Village Administrator Tim Gillian, and John Doss and his men arrived immediately.

They stayed until almost 2 a.m., when the tree was completely cut up and hauled away.

The job was done efficiently and carefully, and I am most grateful for it.
